  <p>Information: COTTAGEVILLE - Gary Ray Houchen, 50, of Cottageville, Jackson County WV, departed this life September 7, 2001, at Wapakoneta, OH, due to a sudden illness. He was born September 22, 1950, in Charleston WV, a son of Ray and Jeanette (Sayre) Houchen of Cottageville.  He was a graduate of Ripley High School and a U. S. Army  veteran of the Vietnam War.  He was, at the time of his death, a construction worker and a protestant.  In addition to his parents, he is survived by three brothers, Rick Houchen, Tracy Houchen and Mitch Houchen, all of Cottageville.  Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 11, 2001, at 11 a.m. at the Casto Funeral Hom in Evans WV with the Rev. Gerald B. Sayre officiating.</p>
