Information: Charles Wesley Horrocks, 88, of Oak Hill, died at home after a long illness.  He was retired from Ames Mining Co., Ames, and was a UMW member.  He was a native of Lansing.  Surviving; wife, Cora Cantrell Horrocks; son, Billy C. of Richmond, Va.; daughters, Hilda Bolin of Charlotte, N.C., Gladys Black of Oak Hill, Kay Hall of Gastonia, N.C.; stepsons, Emil, Dennis and Roy Skaggs, all of Ashtabula, Ohio, Franklin Skaggs of Texas City, Texas, Wilcie Skaggs of Ravenswood, Edsel Skaggs of Charleston; stepdaughter, Drema Herkimer, of Rochester, N.Y.; sister, Maggie Syner of Hico; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.  Burial was in High Lawn Memorial Park.
