  <p>Information: Wayne M. Barnhart, 81, of Sandyville, died Sept. 2, 1989 at home after a long illness.  He was a member of Sidneyville United Methodist Church, IOOF and Masons.  He was a graduate of Morris Harvey College and Marshall University.  He was a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was a former Jackson County surveyor and taught school in the county for 33 years.  Surviving: wife, Gladys; sons, Paul of Ravenswood and William of Apex, N.C.; daughters, Wilda Snyder of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; Twila Miller of Mount Zion, Lola Burgess of Ravenswood; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.  Service was Tuesday at Vail Funeral Home, Ripley with the Rev. Hubert Groves and the Rev. Danny McVey officiating.  Burial was in Morgan Cemetery.</p>
