Information: Ripley native, Eugene Hood, 65, of Lakeview, Ohio, died suddenly Thursday, May 31, 1991.  He was the son of the late Clair Hood and Louise Hood Hascue of Ripley.  Survivors include his wife, Margaret; sons, Lewis, Leon, Gregory, Mark; daughter, Kathy; brother, Lowell Hood, Ripley; sisters, Doris Waybright, Ripley, Mary Louise Waybright, Charleston; several grandchildren.  One daughter, Judy, preceded him in death.  Graveside military rites were held Monday at York Cemetery, Richwood, Ohio, with Dr. Abraham New officiating.  Balanger Funeral Home, Richwood, was in charge of arrangements.
