Information: Pershing Holt, 69, of Cottageville, died June 18, 1987, at his home after an apparent heart attack.  He was born in Greenup, Kentucky, a son of the late John and Georgia Robertson Holt.  He was a World Warr II Army veteran and was retired from Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corp., Ravenswood, following 23 years of service.  He was a member of the United Steel Workers Union, the Old Timers Club, and was a former employee of the King Powder Co.  He is survived by his wife, Crystle Garnet Martin Holt; a son, Gary Lee Holt of Huber Heights, Ohio; three daughters, Joyce Ann Hoschar of Cottageville, Sherry Gordon of Ravenswood and Shelby Jean Wellman of Wurtland, Ky.; two brothers, Lawrence Holt of Ashland, Ky., and Bernard Holt of Kissimee, Fla.; a sister, Ilene Bostic of Peoria, Ariz.; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.  He was preceded in death by a daughter, Leeda Kay Holt; three sisters and a brother.  Funeral services were Sunday at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, with the Rev. William Sullivan and the Rev. Russell Burch officiating.  Burial was in Jackson County Memory Gardens, Cottageville.
