  <p>Information: Mrs. Pauline Holstein, 71, of Ripley, died Thursday, Jan. 18, 1990, in Jackson General Hospital, after a long illness.  She was a homemaker.  Surviving:  husband, Elmer Holstein; sons, Dallas Holstein of Parkersburg, Jack Mitchell of El Paso, Texas, Henry Mitchell of Kansas City, Kan., David Mitchell of Cleveland, James Mitchell of Florida; stepsons, Dewey of North Carolina, Jay and Billy, both of Cleveland; daughters, Venice Githens of Phoenix, Ariz., Linda Riley of Parma, OH, Sue Curry of Charleston, Shirley Simmons and Debbie Carney, both of Ripley; stepdaughters, Dalla McCoy of Kentucky, Freda Whitiner of Phoenix, Donna Christian of Cleveland; brother, Chalmer Harless of Handley; sisters, Edith Counts of Columbus, OH, Catherine Romine of Tenn Argyl, PA; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Service was Monday at Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. Wayne Hinzman officiating.  Burial was in Parsons Cemetery, Gay.</p>
