  <p>Information: Funeral services were held for John Holliday, 77, and burial was in an Akron cemetery.  Mr. Holliday died at Akron General Hospital.  A native of Jackson County he was an Akron resident for 37 years.  He was a retired agent for the Western and Southern Life Insurance Co.  Before going to Akron , he taught school in West Virginia 15 years.  He leaves his wife, Mary; three daughters, Mrs. Ralph Ballinger of Houston, Texas, Mrs. Andrew Lord of Auburn, Calif., and Mrs. Jack Cain of Whittier, Calif.; five sons, Clay of Canton, Clyde of Barberton, Robert of Fanwood, N.J., Donald of Seattle, Wash., and Dana of Akron; a brother, Howard of Parkersburg, W.Va.; a sister, Mrs. Dora Mallett of Belleville, W.Va.: 18 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.</p>
