Information: LETART - Lois Alberta ""Bunny"" Hoffman, 70, of Letart, WV, departed this life October 27, 2008, in Eldercare of Ripley following an extended illness.  She was born January 30, 1938 in Cottageville, a daughter of the late William Hurshell and Nancy Lea (Gerlach) Hunt.  She also was preceded in death by a brother, William Paul Hunt.  She was a former employee of the H & P Department Store in Ripley.  She enjoyed working on the election board and with the Letart Community Center.  She also enjoyed quilting and her grandchildren.  She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Bernard Gary Hoffman; sons, Gray Maurice and his wife Linda Hoffman of Pt. Pleasant, and Roger Dale Gerlach, whom she considered a son, of Mason; daughter, Leah and her husband, Danny Shamblin, of Letart; grandchildren, Christy Lyons, Jessica Marie Rose and Justin Gary Shamblin; great-grandchild, Kaylee Nichole Lyons; brothers, Curtis and his wife Judy Hunt of Letart and Robert F.  and his wife, Betty Hunt, of Titusville, FL.  Service will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 30, 2008, at Casto Funeral Home in Evans, WV with the Rev. Mike Martin and Rev. Gerald B. Sayre officiating.  Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p. m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Gerald B. Sayre will be officiating.
