Information: Minerva Ellen Hockenberry was born in 1829 at Fairmont, W. Va.  She was united in marriage to John Anderson and to this union was born two children, one son and one daughter. Death entered the home and took the father away.  She remained a widow a few years, after which she was married to Jesse Hockenberry and to this union was born six children. She was converted in early life and united with the Methodist Episcopal Church, but later became a member of the United Brethren Church, in which she remained a member to the end.  She lived a quiet, christian life, a devoted mother, a friend to all she met.  Two sons and two daughters remain to mourn their loss, not as those who have no hope, but look forward to the grand reunion in the Home of the Soul.  X.   CARD OF THANKS - We desire to thank all who in any way assisted us during the sickness and death of our mother.  Mittie Hockenberry, Hattie Hockenberry, Wm.
