Information: Mary Louise Hite, 79, a life-long resident of Dunbar, went to be with her Lord and her husband, July 27, 2004, in Oakridge Center after a short illness. She was born the daughter of the late Elmer and Barbara Rice in McDowell County, W. Va., and was a graduate of Beaver High School, Bluefield, W. Va. She was employed at Kanawha Valley Hospital, where she worked as an X-ray technician. She was a member of Highlawn Presbyterian Church. Her husband, A. D. ""Jim"" Hite, also preceded her in death. Mary is survived by her daughter, Patricia Sayre Wesolowski of St. Albans; brother, Richard Rice of Princeton; sisters, Fran Rymes of Clear Lake, Calif., Gerry Sue Carlton of Newport News, Va.; grandchildren, Lawrence Sayre, Jr. of Nitro, Clayton Sayre of Portsmouth, Va., James Sayre of Sissonville; five great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 29, at Highlawn Presbyterian Church, 2501 Washington Ave., St. Albans, with the Rev. Kristi Stone officiating. In accordance with Mrs. Hite's wishes, she will be cremated and her cremains will be interred in Cottageville, W. Va. Arranements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
