  <p>Information: Albert Arnold Hite, 87, formerly of Ripley, died of heart and lung failure at Montgomery General Hospital in Olney MD.  He was a resident of Aspenwood Retirement Community in Silver Spring MD since August 2000.  He was the son of William S. and Louisa Jane Hite.  He served three years in the Army ETO during World War II.  He was predeceased by his first wife, Vivian O&#39;Dell Staats Hite in 1973.  He lived in Ripley until moving to Aspenwod in 2000.  Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Beatrice Genevieve Bennett Fisher Hite; her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his sister, Vada Marie Hite Harris; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be at Vail Funeral Home on Saturday, May 10, 2003, at 10 am with the Rev. Charles Hicks officiating.  Friends may call on Friday, May 9, 2003, from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.  Military graveside rites will be performed at the Fairplain Cemetery by the American Legion Post #107 of Jackson County.</p>
