  <p>Information: Lansing Wayne Hinzman, 69, of Gay, died Thursday at Jackson General Hospital.  He was born in Jackson County, a son of the late Arthur Lee and Virgie Lucille Williams Hinzman.  He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a retired rural mail carrier and a retired United Methodist minister. He was a member of the IOOF Lodge in Ripley and a gospel music singer.  Surviving are his wife, Ruby McCrady Hinzman; four daughters, Marlene Insco of Huntington, Marilyn Lea Varney of Gay, Marsha Lynn Byerly of East Palestine OH, and Rhonda Parsons of Timber Lake NC; three sisters, Evelyn Short, Christine Rhodes and Phyllis Morris, all of Ripley; several grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.  Services were Sunday at Vail Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. Charles Payne officiating.  Burial was in the Evans Cemetery, Gay.</p>
