  <p>Information: Samuel Leroy Hilton, 49, of Ravenswood, died Friday afternoon at his home following an extended illness.  He was born in Shinnston, WV, a son of Blanche Oliver Hilton of Clarksburg, and the late Charles G. Hilton.  He was a member of the Ravenswood Second Baptist Church, serving as deacon, choir director and treasurer.  He was employed by Kaiser Aluminum with 26 years of service.  He is survived by his wife, Deloris Jean Short Hilton; one daughter, Terry VanKirk of Ravenswood; three sons, Samuel Hilton Jr. of Ravenswood, Mark Kevin Hilton of Baltimore, Md., and Brian Matthew Hilton at home; three sisters, Hazel Russell and Ora Toothman, both of Shinnston, and Loriene Hemline of Horner, WV; five brothers, James Hilton of Clarksburg, Paul Hilton, Douglas Hilton and Robert Hilton, all of Akron, Ohio, and Ralph Hilton of Ravenswood; one granddaughter, Christina.  He was preceded in death by one sister.  Service was held Monday at the Second Baptist Church, with the Rev. Fred Lowry officiating.  Burial was in Ravenswood Cemetery.  Straight-Tucker Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.</p>
