  <p>Information: Elbert Ernest Hilton, 65, of Bassett, Va., died Monday, September 19, 1988, at his home of an apparent heart attack.  The son of the late Elbert E. and Susie McAlexander Hilton, he was born at Davey, W. Va.  He was an Army veteran of World War II and was retired from Stanley Furniture Company, Stanleytown, Va.  Surviving: wife, Dorothy M. McIntyre Hilton; daughter, April Dawn Gerlach of Powder Springs, Ga.; sisters, Vonie H. Rhodes of Martinsville, Va., Edna H. Laxton of Collinsville, Va., and Megan H. Holbrook of Georgetown, Tenn.; two grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy (Jackie) Smith Hilton and a daughter, Dinah Marie Hilton.  Graveside services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a. m. at Blaine Memorial Cemetery, Cottageville with the Rev. Gerald Sayre officiating.  Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Casto Funeral Home.</p>
