Information: UNION CARBIDE EMPLOYEE SUCCUMBS FROM ACCIDENT- Funeral services were held Sunday for Lloyd E. Hill, 52, of 1806 Division Street, Parkersburg, who was killed late Wednesday evening when he apparently walked into the path of a lift truck at the Union Carbide Corporation Plant and was crushed beneath it, according to plant officials. The Rev. Harry E. Mikels officiated, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Born in Jackson County, he was a son of the late Martin R. and Etta Robbins Hill. He was a veteran of World War II, and had been employed by Union Carbide Plant for the past 17 years. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Parkersburg. Among survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Lois Moore of Ravenswood, Mrs. Juanita Wyers of Sandyville and Mrs. Marie Rhodes of Cutler, Ohio. Other survivors include his widow, Mrs. Juanita Hill; one son, Ronald C. Hill, at home; two step-daughters, Shelia and Cindy Lucas, both at home. He was preceded in death by his first wife and two sisters.
