  <p>Information: Charles Asbury Hill, 78, of Evans, departed this life August 23, 2004, in the Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Point Pleasant, following an extended illness.  He was born August 25, 1925, in Elmwood, Mason County, a son of the late C. A. Sr., and Elva Dale (Morrison) Hill.  He was a retired painter and member of the Painters Union Local #1144, Parkersburg.  He was a World War II Navy veteran and member of the Church of Christ.  Survivors include sons, Charles E. (Chuck) Hill of Evans and Craig E. Hill of Point Pleasant; sister, Mildred Williams of Wooster, Ohio; grandchildren, Eric Chapman, Mark Chapman, Rachel Chapman, Lance Jeff Ashworth and Chase Daughtery; great-grandchildren, Olivia Shreve, Parker Shreve and Neda Chapman; and friend and former wife, Geri Hill.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Charlene.  A service will be held today at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, with Pastor Les Hayman officiating.  Burial followed in the Letart-Evergreen Cemetery.</p>
