Information: Gale Hersman, 47, of Evans died Saturday morning in Jackson General Hospital of an apparent heart attack. He was an employee of Kaiser Aluminum Chemical Corp. at Ravenswood, and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the RAMS. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jenifer. Surviving in addition to his mother, Mrs. Miriam Thomas Hersman of Evans, is his widow, Mrs. Marybelle Reed Hersman; one son, John Reed Hersman of Evans; two brothers, Guy L. Hersman, Evans, and W.C. Hersman of Gaitherburg, Md.; four sisters, Mrs. Rosemary Hudson, Ripley, Mrs. Joanna Lott, and Mrs. Nancy Blake, both of Orlando, Fla., and Mrs. Ellen Whiting of Evans. Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. at Casto Funeral Home. Burial was in Otterbein Cemetery.
