  <p>Information: Ephriam Herdman, son of Peter and Mary Herdman was born April 15, 1856, died Sunday, Nov. 24, 1940 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Orval Stover at Long Bottom, age 84 years and 7 months.  He was married to Mary Barnett in August 1885.  To this union two children were born:  Roy of Stubenville, Ohio and Mrs. Focie Stover with whom he lived.  In August 1900 he was married to Hetty Steele.  To this union were born seven children, three preceding him in death.  Those living are his daughter, Ercel of Portsmouth, Ohio and sons:  Aley of Leon, W. Va., Rex and Hoyt of Columbus.  He also leaves one brother, A. T. Herdman of Cottageville and a sister Christeena of Raymond City.  He leaves 19 grandchildren.  Funeral services were held Tuesday morning, Nov. 26, 1940 by his pastor Rev. W. I.
