  <p>Information: Blanche Herdman, 89, of Cottageville, departed this life June 22, 2004 at Jackson General Hospital.  She was born January 11, 1915, in Jackson County, a daughter of the late Holly and Lettie (Sayre) Hughes.  She was a homemaker and a charter member of the Evans Church of God.  Surviving are sons, Gene Herdman of Leon, and Denward ""Dave"" Herdman of Cottageville; daughters, Leota Miller and Sylvia Waldon, both of Grove City, Ohio; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alley O. Herdman, brothers, Clifford, Blake and Don and two grandsons.  A service will be held today at 1 p.m. at the Evans Church of God with the Rev.  Benjamin Riggleman officiating.  Burial will follow in the Sayre Cemetery, Cottageville.</p>
