Information: Leonard Isaac Haynes, 76, of Wolf Pen, Charleston, died Thursday, June 19, at the home of his daughter, Phyllis Kiser of Kanawha Two Mile, after a long illness. He was self-employed and was a lifelong resident of Kanawha County. Also surviving: wife, Bess Edens Haynes; sons, Eddie A., Harold Lee and Jimmie, all of Charleston, Raymond at home; daughter, Virginia Rowe of Washington, D.C.; brother, Johnny of Kanawha Two Mile; sister, Ocie Reavis of Charleston; 26 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren. Service was Saturday in Elizabeth Baptist Church, Wolf Pen, with the Rev. Edward Jarrett officiating. Burial was in Haynes Cemetery, Wolf Pen. Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
