Information: Howard W. Haynes, 74, of Rt. 3, Leon, died Friday at home. He was a retired farmer and was a member of Elmwood United Methodist Church. Surviving: wife, Sybel Rhodes Haynes; daughter, Mrs. Maxine Snodgrass of Leon Rt. 3; son, Wayne of Columbus, Ohio; half-sister, Mrs. Martha Boggess of Sissonville; brothers, Alva and Fred of Michigan; half-brother, Russell Moffett, of Michigan. Service was Sunday at 2 p.m. in Raynes Funeral Home, Buffalo, with the Rev. William (Bud) Hatfield officiating. Burial was in Independence Cemetery, Sandyville.
