Information: Inez Gay Hatcher, 78, of Kenna, died Feb. 12, 1993, at JacksonGeneral Hospital, Ripley, after a long illness. She was born October 29, 1914 in Jackson County, a daughter of the late Rev. James Perry and Ora Ellen Gandee. She was a retired cook from the Jackson County school system and a member of the Stone Lick Community Church. Surviving are two daughters; Deloris Jean McDonnell of Ravenswood, and Janet Sue Denton of Henersonville, Tennessee; three sons, Clyde J. and James Michael of Kenna, and Julian T. of Cottageville; sisters, Reba Garnes and Viginia Carnell of Kenna; one brother, Basil Gandee of Kenna; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde, a son, Jerry and a brother, Rev. Herman Gandee. Services were Monday, Feb 15, at 11 a.m. at Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. Joe Hatcher officiating. Burial was at the Stone Lick Cemetery, Kenna.
