Information: Mrs. C.C. Hartley died at an early hour Monday morning, September 11, 1911, at the family home in North Hamilton, after an illness of several months. Funeral services will be held at the M.E. Church this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by the pastor, Rev. E.C. Morgan. The body will be interred in Highland Cemetery. Deceased was born in Chandlersville, Ohio, on March 20th, 1857, and moved to West Virginia with her parents when about twelve years old. She was married April 17, 1878, at Point Pleasant, West Virginia, to C.C. Hartley, her maiden name being Susan J. Howell. Eight children were born to this union. Mr. Hartley and six children survive. The children are Misses, Ora and Anna Hartley of Hamilton, Fred B. Hartley, of Bingham Canyon, Utah, Willard Hartley, of Lewiston, Idaho, and Frank and Harry Hartley of Hamilton. The funeral has been delayed awaiting the coming of Fred B. Hartley, who arrived here last night from Utah. Willard Hartley did not return home for his mother's funeral. He spent some time here about a month ago on account of his mother's sickness. The deceased is also survived by an aged mother, a sister, Mrs. Fred Farr, and other relatives here and in the east.
