Information: Mrs. Minnie May Newberry Hartley, 83, of Point Pleasant, died Saturday at Pleasant Valley Hospital after a long illness. She was the mother of Mrs. Virginia Click of Evans, manager of Almeda's store in Ripley, and Mrs. Grace Casto of Ravenswood. Born March 21, 1893, in Cottageville, she was the daughter of Wesley and Ida Miller Newberry. A resident of Point Pleasant for 31 years and formerly of the Creston Community, she was a member of the Creston United Methodist Church and the Creston Ladies Aid. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, ath the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with the Rev. Tally Hanna officiating. Burial followed at the Creston Cemetery, Rt. 87, at Leon. Additional survivors include her husband, Vitus Hartley Sr.; three sons, Harley Hartley, Art E. Hartley Sr., Vitus Hartley, Jr., all of Point Pleasant; three sisters, Mrs. Lucy Hill, Inverness, Fla., Mrs. Margaret Sisson, Point Pleasant, Mrs. Mabel Cheesebrew, Point Pleasant; two brothers, Robert Newberry, Point Pleasant, Holley Sayre, London, Ohio; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
