  <p>Information: John Henry Hartley, 78, of Cottageville died Sunday at his home after a two-month illness.  He was the son of the late H. T. and Laura Finnemore Hartley and was a retired farmer.  He attended Antioch United Brethren Church.  Surviving are his wife, Eula Burgess Hartley; a daughter, Geraldine Sayre, Ravenswood; three sons, John Jr. of Parkersburg, Landon of Cottageville, and Martin Sayre of Ravenswood; a step-son, Richard Burgess of Huntington; four sisters, Edna Stalman of Reedy, Lucy Hartley of Spencer, Grace Carlson of Barberton, Ohio and Ivy Lloyd of Republic, Ohio; and five grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, Josephine Sayre Hartley; and by a sister, Ruth Hartley.  Services will be held today (Wednesday) 2 p.m. at the Casto Funeral Home, Evans, with the Rev. Curtis Sayre officiating.  Burial will be in the Otterbein Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home.</p>
