Information: March 29, 1970 Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Grasslick Baptist Church for Arley E. Hart, 90, of Kenna, who died Sunday at his residence. The Rev. Rankin Roach and the Rev. Vairl Winter officiated with burial in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Vail Funeral Home, Ripley, was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Hart was born January 19, 1880, a son of James and Nancy Payne Hart. He was a member of Grasslick Baptist Church for 60 years and was a retired farmer. He is survived by his second wife, Lula Hart of Kenna; one son, Ayward Hart of Charleston; four daughters, Mrs. Lucy Harper, Mrs. Belva Logan, Mrs. Anna Harpold, all of Charleston, and Mrs. Emma Coe of Newport Beach, Calif.; one brother, Charlie Hart of Parkersburg; one sister, Mrs. Mary Rhodes of Parkersburg; 14 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mrs. Rachel Reed Hart, and a son, Willard. April 2, 1970 Funeral services were held Tuesday at Grasslick Baptist Church for Arley E. Hart, 90, of Vienna, who died Sunday at his residence. Officiating ministers were the Rev. Rankin Roach and the Rev. Vairl Winter. Burial was in Grasslick Cemetery at Kenna. Born Jan. 19, 1880, he was a son of the late James and Nancy Payne Hart, and was a member of the Grasslick Baptist Church for 60 years. He was a retired farmer.
