Information: William Floyd Harrison, 69, of Sissonville died Oct. 23, 1993, at home after a long illness.  He was a carpenter and a member of Carpenters Union Local 1207, with 30 years' service, retiring in 1983.  He was a Protestant and a member of Sissonville VFW Post 3066.  He was a member of DAV and was an Army veteran of World War II, having received a Purple Heart with five oak leaf clusters.  He was a lifelong resident of the Sissonville area.  Surviving:  wife, Juanita Boggess Harrison; daughter, Bonnie Barnhart of Sissonville; sons, Danny of Charleston, Jackie D. of Sissonville; sisters, Evie Tyler of Sissonville, Eva Harrison of Kenna, Iva King of Kenna; brothers, James and Johnny, both of Kenna, Edgar of Poca; nine grandchildren; one great-grandson.  Funeral services were held Tuesday at Long-Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville, with the Rev. William Harrison officiating.  Burial was in Fisher Family Cemetery, Goldtown.
