  <p>Information: Lovell Asbury Barnett, 76, of Given, died Feb 21 at Jackson General Hospital, Ripley following a long illness.  He was born in Rockcastle, a son of the late Asbury and Julia Cook Barnett.  He was a farmer and a member of the Mount Zion Church.  Surviving:  wife, Malena Barnett; two sons, Eugene E. Barnett of Pataskala, O., and Valestene Barnett of Roanoke, Va.; a daughter, Mrs. Linda Waugh of McCordsville, Ind.; a brother, Arthur Barnett of Hometown; two sisters, Mrs. Mae Cook of Cleveland, Ohio and Mrs. Odell Stephens of Given; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.  Services will be today (Wednesday), 11 a.m. in the Mount Zion Church with burial in the Mount Zion Cemetery at Given.  Friends may call at Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley.   </p>
