Information: Mrs. Koontzie F. Harrison, 80, of Pocatalico, formerly of Ripley, died Friday at Thomas Memorial Hospital in South Charleston following a brief illness. She was born in Fairplain, a daughter of the late John Humphrey and Madgeline Pfost Winter. She was a member of the Aldergate United Methodist Church and was a retired employee of the O.J. Morrison Co. in Charleston. Surviving are her husband, J.E. Harrison; two daughters, Mrs. Janice Young of Barboursville, and Miss Rosemary Harrison of Pocatalico; a brother Ray Winter of Fairplain, a granddaughter, Lisa Lynn Young. Services were conducted Monday 11 a.m., at the Parsons Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in the Fairplain Cemetery.
