Information: Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Cunningham Funeral Home Chapel at Pocatalico, with the Rev. Charles F. Scragg officiating for Granville Dewitt Harrison, 74, of Kenna, who was found dead Saturday in a deep ravine about two miles from his home. Jackson County Coroner Gay H. Duke ruled death due to exposure. According to Chief Deputy Everett Stalnaker of the Jackson County Sheriff's Department, the victim resided alone in an isolated area of the community and was reported by a relative as missing on Friday, Dec. 12. Taking part in an all-out search were Deputies Stalnaker, Ezra Randolph and Edward Speece, Eddie Parsons of Parsons Funeral Home, the Jackson County CB Club, and the Sissonville Fire Department. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Francis Huffman, of Kenna; Mrs. Violet Smith, Huntington; Mrs. Phyllis Boggess of South Charleston; Mrs. Laura J. Taylor, Millwood; and Mrs. Janet Hall, Oberlin, Ohio; three sons, Charles G., of Liberty, Putnam County; Kermit D. and Willard E., Elyria, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Bowling, Allen's Fork; and Mrs. Loshie Barnhart of Florida; and a half brother, Oley, of Charleston. Burial was in the Harrison Cemetery in Jackson County.
