Information: Mrs. Gertrude Barnett, 80, of No. 5, 8th Ave., died yesterday morning at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.  She was born in Jackson County, July 14, 1891, daughter of the late John and Margaret Sheppard Skinner.  She had resided in Wood County the past 60 years, and was a member of the Gates Ridge United Methodist Church.  She is survived by one son, Emmet of Parkersburg; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Wiblin of Parkersburg; four grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren; one brother, Delbert of Mt. Vernon, O.; one sister, Mrs. Flossie Trough of Parkersburg; one half-sister, Mrs. Bessie Anderson of Rockport and a number of nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by one son, one brother and one sister.  Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. at the Franklin and Son Memorial Chapel.  The Rev. Bill Angel will officiate and burial will be in the Sunset Memory Gardens.  Friends may call at the funeral chapel.
