Information: David Ray Harrison, 33, of Kenna, who had been battling leukemia for several years, died Tuesday, Sept. 20, in City of Hope Hospital, Duarte, California. Four years ago, Harrison underwent a bone marrow transplant in the City of Hope Hospital and regained his health. This spring he suffered a relapse and returned to California in June for a second transplant. His sister, Peggy Webb, was the donor. He had made good progress until about three weeks ago when his condition worsened. He was removed from life support systems during the weekend. Harrison was a brick and block worker. Survivors include his wife, Linda Harrison, Kenna; son, Dwight of Winfield; daughter, Kimberly of Winfield, Tabitha of Kenna; parents Johnny and Ora Harrison of Ripley; brothers Michael of Kenna, Dewayne and Jamie, both of Ripley: sisters, Peggy Webb of Ripley, Sharon Casto of Frozen Camp; grandmother Amy Anderson of Ripley. Parsons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements which were incomplete at presstime.   * Burial in Harrison Cemetery, Jackson County.
