Information: Arlene A. Harrison, 85, of Goldtown WV, passed away May 26, 2012, at her home. She was born December 21, 1926 in Charleston, a daughter of the late Delmer Monroe and Glada Alice (Miller) Rhodes. Her husband, Ronald A. ""Butch"" Harrison, son, Ronald Lee ""Chopper"" Harrison, an infant son, Rodney Dale Harrison, and a brother, Dana Long, also preceded her in death. She graduated from Ripley High School and was Miss Viking with the class of 1945, was a retired office manager from Frito-Lay, and was an active member of the Fisher Memorial Church, Goldtown. She enjoyed children and camping. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn Sue and Thomas Hart of Goldtown; sisters, Elizabeth White of Charleston and Prenistine ""Prenny"" Pierson of Sissonville; grandchildren, Ginger Barnes and her husband Brian, Bradford Lee Harrison and his fiance, Shelena Settle, and Joshua Hart, all of Goldtown, and Christopher Hart and his wife Bev of Sissonville; daughter-in-law, Brenda Harrison; step-grandson, Gale Sayre and his wife Medalyen; great-grandchildren, Shaylee, Elijah, Shad, Caden, Olivia, Zachary, and Zaya, and a very special friend and caregiver, Carol Miller. Services were 5 pm Sunday, May 27, 2012, at Casto Funeral Home Chapel, Evans. Pastor Aaron Finney officiated. Graveside services wer Monday, May 28, 2012, at the Fisher Cemetery, Goldtown.
