Information: 02/12/1970 Mrs. Vernon Albright of Ypsilanti, Mich., granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Roliff of Ravenswood, was killed in an automobile accident last Thursday in Toledo, Ohio. She was on her way to work when she lost control of her car due to icy roads. She had been employed as a nurses technician in a college clinic in Toledo. Born in Jackson County, the deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest R. Pullens of Fostoria, Ohio. Mrs. Pullens is the former Ellen A. Roliff. Survivors include one brother, Robert, serving with the US Navy at Rhode Island; two sisters, Mrs. Larry Bayinger of Fostoria and Mrs. Allen Blackburn of Toledo; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R.E.Pullens of Fostoria and Mr. and Mrs. Roliff of Ravenswood. Services were held Sunday in Fostoria and burial was in the Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, Toledo. 02/13/1970 A young nursing supervisor in Ypsilanti, Michigan, who had relatives and friends in Jackson County, was killed instantly Thursday morning in an automobile accident there, according to word received by her relatives here in the county. The young woman, Mrs. Vernon Albright, formerly Elaine Pullins, was the paternal granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Pullins, Rt. 1, Ravenswood. Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Harry Roliff, also of Ravenswood, Mrs. Roliff went to the home of the girl's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Raymond Pullins of Fostoria, Ohio when she learned of the tragedy. The fatal accident occurred when the car in which Mrs. Albright was riding, skidded on an icy highway and rammed into a tree, killing her instantly. She was on her way to work at the time. Mrs. Albright was a graduate of Fostoria High School, Mercy School of Nursing, and the Ohio State University. At the time of her marriage, little more than a year ago, she became Clinic Co-ordinator of the Medical Clinic at the University of Michigan Health Service, a position she held at the time of her death. Survivors in addition to her husband and parents are two sisters and a brother who is serving in the armed forces. He was flown to his parent's home Thursday night. Funeral services were held at the Mann Funeral Home at 8:00 p.m. Sunday night in Fostoria, Ohio. Burial was in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, Toledo, Ohio, on Monday morning.
