  <p>Information: Mazilla Jane (Hughes) Harris, daughter of Joseph and Anna Hughes, was born April 3rd, 1857, departed this life March 12, 1944, age 86 years, 11 months and 9 days.  She was united in marriage to Emory Edward Harris in the year 1881.  To this union 7 children were born; Minnie Harris and Mrs. Ivy Spaulding at home, Mrs. Florence Eckard of Flat Rock, W. Va., Mrs. May Fry of Cottageville, Rt. 1, Mattie McClure of Leon, W. Va.  Her husband and one son, Charles Lee Harris, and one daughter, Lizzie, preceded her in death.  She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one brother, Abigah Lee Hughes and other relatives and a host of friends.  She was converted and joined the Cherry Grove Methoist church when young.  She attended church faithfully and did everything to make the church a success while she was able.  But since her health and age did not permit her to attend church she enjoyed the songs and gospel preached over the radio.  Funeral services were conducted in the New Antioch U.B. Church Tuesday, March 14, at 2:00 p.m. by the pastor Roy Davis.  Interment in that church cemetery by the J. B. Vail undertaker in charge.</p>
