Information: Harris Death Ruled Suicide Calvin Marcus Harris, 35, of Sandyville, Rt. 3, was found dead near his home Saturday morning of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.  Deputy Chester McClain reported that Harris' wife and nephew found the body at 2  a.m. approximately 30 yards from their home.  Harris had been shot with a 16-gauge shotgun, Deputy McClain said.  He was an employee of Walker-Parkersburg Division of Textron, Inc.  Born in Wood county, he was a son of Mrs. Etta Sherry Harris of Parkersburg, and the late Charles Clifford Harris.  He had been employed by Walker-Parkersburg and had attended the Full Gospel Church at Rockport.  Survivors in addition to his mother include his widow, Mrs. Shirley M. Archer Harris; three sons, Calvin Max, Seldon Lee and Charles Jon Harris, all at home; one brother,Hoyt Lee Harris of Parkersburg; four sisters, Mrs. Glen Freshour of New Cumberland, Mrs. Maxine Freshour of Canton, Ohio, Mrs. Carl Jenkins of Elizabeth, Rt. 1 and Mrs. Denver Perkins of Parkersburg; several nieces and nephews.  Funeral sevices were held Monday at the Leavitt Funeral Home with the Rev. Everett L. Snyder officiating.  Burial was in the Gates Ridge Cemetery.
