Information: Funeral services for Mrs. Rachel E. Harpold, 91, of Coolville, who died Thursday in the Arcadia Nursing Home, were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the White Funeral Home. The Rev. Earl Russell officiated with burial in Ravenswood cemetery. Born in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Orlando and Isabella Thorn Hardman, she was a former member of the Spencer Baptist Church, a member of the Fidelity Lodge of Coolville, Minear Chapter 274, OES of Guysville, and the Belpre Congregational Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Paulita White, with whom she made her home, Mrs. Kathleen Justice, Coolville; one sister, Mrs. David M. Crawford, St. Petersburg, Fla.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar S. Harpold, and by one son.
