Information: 7/10/1964 Forney F. Harpold, 72, a long-time resident of Ripley, died of a heart attack Friday at the Bryan, Ohio hospital. The funeral service was held at the Parsons Funeral Home here Sunday with Rev. Robert Evans officiating and the burial was in Pine Hill Cemetery. He was born Sept. 11, 1891, at Ripley, the son of the late Jennings Harpold and Dora Cunningham Harpold. He was a retired Areo Co. employee. Surviving are his widow, Sara; four sons, John and Jim Harpold, both of Charleston, William of Dunbar, and Robert of Bryan, O.; two sisters, Miss Anita Harpold and Mrs. Adele Walsh, both of Ripley; 21 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. date unknown but affixed to card with above Forna F. He was born Sept 11, 1891, in Jackson County, the son of the late Jennings Harpold and Dora Cunningham Harpold. He was a retired Areo Co. employee. Surviving are his widow, Sara; four sons, John and Jim Harpold, both of Charleston, William of Dunbar and Robert of Bryan, O.; three daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Overbaugh of N.C., Mrs. Helen Hoffman of Fort Wayne, Ind., Mrs. George Goll of Striker, O.; two sisters, Miss Anita Harpold and Mrs. Adele Walsh, both of Ripley; and 21 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Today, at the Parson Funeral Home, Ripley. The Rev. Robert Evans will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
