Information: Mrs. Pauline Emma Harper, 65, of Ripley, died Thursday at home after a long illness. She was a former resident of Charleston where she was a member of Davis Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Harold V.; three daughters, Emma Bird and Linda Haynes, both of Charleston, Ava Susan Harper of Washington, DC; six brothers, Ova Vannoy and Darrell Vannoy, both of Charleston, Russell Vannoy of Ripley, Paul Vannoy of Buffalo, Daniel Vannoy of Sissonville, David Vannoy of Louisiana; three sisters, Edna Dubenspeck of Charleston, Irene Wiseman of Ripley, Crestabell Russe of Florida; four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Services were to be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Davis Memorial Church, Charleston. Friends may call at the church an hour prior to the services. The Rev. Henson and the Rev. Beals will be officiating. Burial will be in the Fairplain Cemetery. Elk Funeral Home, Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
