  <p>Information: James M. Duke Harper, 43, of Kenna, died Saturday in General Division, Charleston Area Medical Center, after a long illness. He was the father of Tom Harper of Ripley and Mrs. Jill Harrison of Ripley. He was a retired carpenter from Charleston Local 1207. Others surviving include his wife, Joan Slater Harper; another son, Jay Harper at home; father, Brady M. Harper of Ravenswood; mother, Mrs. Esta Tate Harper of Charleston; brothers, Bob G. Harper of Cross Lanes, Bill D. Harper of  	  		Sissonville; and two grandchildren. A service was held Monday at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston, with the Rev. James Phillips officiating. Burial was in the John Beane Cemetery, Sissonville.      	 </p>
