  <p>Information: Fredrick R. Harper, 66, of Gay, died Jan. 24, 1988, in Charleston General Hospital following a short illness.  He was born in Kanawha County, a son of the late Everett and Clara Harper.  He was a retired auto mechanic.  He is survived by his wife, Vera Harper; three daughters, Victoria Harper Cole of Charleston, Karen Stutler of Gay, Glenda Wester of Stuart, Fla; three sisters, Gerlaind Henson of Coal River, Wanda Morton of Fort Pierce, Fla., and Cleo Ferrel of Arkansas; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.  Services will be today (Wednesday) 11 a.m. at the Parsons Funeral Home Chapel, Ripley, with the Rev. Wayne Hinzman officiating.  Burial will be in Pennington Cemetery, Kanawha City.</p>
