Information: Funeral services were held Friday from the Vail Funeral Home for Mrs. Esta Harmon, 64 who died in a Charleston hospital on Tuesday, where she had been a patient. The Rev. Roy W. Fisher officiated at the service and the burial was in the Mt. Olive Cemetery. Surviving are her husband, H. F. Harmon of Ripley; two daughters, Mrs. Virgie Skeen of Ripley and Mrs. Macel Casto of Charleston; one son, John, at home; two step-sons, Ezra Harmon of Ripley; and Ralph Harmon of Cumberland, Maryland; two brothers, George Waybright of Fairplain and Fleet Waybright of Gay, and two sisters, Mrs. Gertie Harmon of Cottageville and Mrs. Ethel Casto of Liverpool. One step-son, Harold G Harmon, was killed in Germany. Esta Waybright Harmon was the daughter of John and Sarah Thomas Waybright, was born at Staats Mills on Aug. 10, 1884 and departed this life Dec. 28, 1948 at the age of 64 years, 4 months and 18 days.
