Information: Flossie Evelyn Barnes, daughter of Charles and Margaret Barnes, was born at Leroy, November 27, 1891, and bid adieu to this vale of sorrow, January 14, 1914, aged 22 years, 1 month and 18 days.  Her death was preceded by two weeks of illness with typhoid fever.  She leaves amid the trials and temptations and hardships of this life a father, mother, three brothers and four sisters, a host of other relatives and friends.  One sister awaited her, having gone on May 1, 1913.  Interment was made in the Fairview cemetery, Rev. McCoy assisted by Rev. Nuzum, conducted the funeral services.  (McIntyre)
