Information: Funeral services for Robert L. Hardesty, 59, of Glasgow, who died Saturday evening in Charleston Memorial Hospital, were held Tuesday at the United Methodist Church, Glasgow.  The Rev. John Cheetham and the Rev. E. W. Hall officiated.  Burial was in the Independence Church Cemetery at Sandyville.  Mr. Hardesty was domestic foreman for the Cabot Corp. at Glasgow and was past assistant fire chief at the volunteer fire department there.  A native of Sandyville, he was a member of the Glasgow United Methodist Church.  Survivors include his wife, Evelyn; one son, John Paul Hardesty of Glasgow; his mother, Erma Hardesty of Sandyville; two brothers, Lloyd and Paul, both of Sandyville; two sisters, Marjorie Williams of Parkersburg, and Gertrude Bradley of Sandyville; one grandson.  Cook Funeral Home, Cedar Grove, was in charge of arrangements.
