Information: Mrs. Minnie Mae Sayre Harden, 85, of Zanesville, died Tuesday afternoon at Zanesville Hospital after a short illness. She was born in Jackson County, daughter of the late Charles and Lenora Platt Hamilton. She had been a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church here and a life member of the Eastern Star. She was past matron of the Olive Branch Chapter of the OES in Duncan Falls and a member of the Rosa Shrine No. 8, White Shrine of Jerusalem. She is survived by two sons, Charles L. Sayre, Brilliant, Ohio, and W. Paul Sayre, Orlando, Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. Carl Fleegle of Zanesville; two brothers, O. P. Hamilton, Duncan Falls and Charles C. Hamilton, Philo, Ohio; a half-brother, David Hamilton, of Mansfield, Ohio; three half-sisters, Mrs. Beryl Powell of Melbourne, Fla., Mrs. Ona Faye Holman, Kalamazoo, Mich., and Mrs. Fern Rouston, Dayton, Ohio; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services were held Friday at the Clyde E. Thompson Funeral Home with the Rev. Harry W. Scott officiating. Burial was in the Zanesville Memorial Park.
