Information: Funeral services were held at Dunbar Tuesday afternoon for Robert Edward Lee Hamon, age 73, formerly of Fletcher, who died at his home in Dunbar Sunday morning after and illness of several years.  Rev. Ernest Gold, assisted by Rev. Joseph Morgan, conducted the services.  Burial was in Dunbar Memorial Park.  Surviving are three sons, O. C.  and O. B. Hamon of Scott Depot and O. L. Hamon of Okmulgee, Oklahoma; two daughters, Mrs. E. G. Kiser and Miss Ossie J. Hamon of Dunbar; a sister, Mrs. Lena Sutherland of Charleston; 20 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.  [Betty Kessel McIntyre obit collection]
