  <p>Information: Lessie Ferrell Hamon, 94, of Ripley, died March 13, 1989, in Care Inn, Ripley, following an extended illness.  She was born in Roane County, a daughter of the late Sherman and Sarah Jones Ferrell.  She was a member of the Primative Baptist Church, Waterford, Ohio.  She is survived by three sons, Starling Hamon of Ripley, Darrell Hamon of Rivera, Ariz. and Marvin Hamon of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; one daughter, Garnet Landfried of Ripley; sister, Belva Valentine of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; half sister, Velda Pickens of Canton, Ohio; 23 grandchilren; several great-grandchildren.  Services were Thursday at Vail Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. Orville Walker officiating.  Burial was in Goshen Cemetery, Kentuck.</p>
