Information: Funeral services will be held at the Ogdin Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Friday for Mrs. Fannie Hammond, 80, of Parkersburg, who died Wednesday morning following an extended illness.  The Rev. E. David Dubois will officiate with burial to be in Arlington cemetery.  Born in Jackson County, a daughter of the late Jeff and Mary Landfried Carney, she was a member of the St. Paul's Methodist Church and an active member of the WSCS of that church.  Survivors include her husband, Grover C. Hammond; one daughter, Mrs. C.C. Brown, Akron; one sister, Mrs. Joe Vail, Ripley; one brother, Fred Carney, Ripley, and two grandchildren.
