Information: Mildred Irene Comer Hammack, 86, of Kenna, departed this lefe, Tuesday, April 26, 2005, at St. Francis Hospital. She was born Feb. 3, 1919, at Advent, a daughter of the late Marshal Sr., and Dora Elizabeth Walker Comer. She was preceded in deah by one son, Frederick L. Hammack. Mildred was a homemaker, a member of Fisher Memorial Church and attended Allens Fork Community Church where she was a member of the Stitching Sisters. Survivors include her loving husband of 69 years, the Rev. Shirley Lee Hammack; three daughters and their husbands, Phyllis and Don Smith of Crossville, Tenn., Dora and Donnie Parsons of Leroy and Betty and James ""Ham"" Hamilton of Red House; 11 grandchildren,; 19 great-grandchildren; two half sisters, Nadine Fisher of Charleston and Nola Simpkins of Ravenswood; and two half brothers, Marshal Comer, Jr. and Gary Comer, both of Ripley. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Firday, April 29, at Long & Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville, with the Rev. Jerry Bonnett and the Rev. Paul Arthur officiating. Entombment will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories Mausoleum, Sissonville. Visitation will be two hours prior to service at the funeral home.
