Information: Dorothy Gwendolyn Baker Hamilton, 88, of Cottageville, departed this life on November 27, 2010, in Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, following an extended illness.  She was born September 26, 1922, in Cottageville, a daughter of the late Boyd Commodore and Blanche Lloyd Baker.  She was a retired waitress from Blossom Dairy and a sales clerk for Stone & Thomas, Charleston.  She was a member of the Mount Alto Church of Christ and enjoyed reading.  Surviving are her sons, Elmer Boyd ""Buster"" Hamilton and his wife, Evelyn, of Charleston and James Rhett Hamilton and his wife, Mary, of Cottageville; grandsons, James Boyd and Tyler William Hamilton, both of Cottageville, and Mark Allen Hamilton of St. Marys; great-grandchildren, Haley, Jacob and Lilly Grace.  In addition to her parents, her husband, James E. ""Fly"" Hamilton; and a brother, C. Martin Baker, preceded her in death.  Service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, November 29, 2010, at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, with Arnold Markum officiating.  Burial will follow in Blaine Memorial Cemetery, Cottageville.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service.  Online condolences may be sent to CASTOFH@gmail.com.
